About The Position

The Associate Supply Planning Excellence Manager is a full-time assignment that supports and influences the achievement of Supply Chain KPI’s including Customer Service, Inventory and Cost. The core of the job purpose is to build planning mastery within the organization and implement best practices utilizing WBC process standards and technologies. This role reports to the Planning Associate Director, WBC. The position supports Customer Service and Inventory optimization through process and technology excellence, deploys capabilities for predictive & prescriptive enhancements in existing technologies, and develops and deploys training programs targeted for Supply Planners. It also supports and deploys WBC Supply Planning technologies while working closely with the WBC Kinaxis product manager and Accenture team from design phase to post go live support. The role provides OpCo perspective in all Supply Planning WBC initiatives, maintains Supply Planning process and technology training material to keep up with the pace of a very ambitious agenda for building new processes, technologies, and skills, and drives Process and Tool adoption in the quest for touchless planning. The Supply Planning Excellence associate manager is the subject matter expert in Master Production Scheduling, Distribution Requirements Planning, Inventory Optimization, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, and Scenario Planning and Optimization, providing training, hands-on operational support to Supply Planners, and serving as liaison with the WBC technical teams. The role involves engaging and working with the Planning Community to drive delivery of programs across planning sub-functions and work levels focused on people and learning, building foundation, socialization, and embedment of planning knowledge through innovative learning methodologies, executing large impact, on-demand, relevant-now learning events, developing new approaches towards learning to ensure maximum impact and user experience linked to business results, and establishing capability to monitor skill progression, developing future planning subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Planning, Supply Chain, Analytics or related fields
  • 3+ years of work experience in supply chain and projects management with a clear competence in SC planning, analytics, and technology
  • Experience in Microsoft D365, SAP APO, SAP ECC, Kinaxis Rapid Response
  • Excellent communication skills and team commitment in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in developing, and leading training programs with a sharp focus on stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities in a very dynamic environment
  • Ability to problem solve, and influence stakeholders while embedding new capabilities within Supply Chain Planning
