About The Position

The Boeing Company has a long tradition of aerospace leadership and innovation, and Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an opening for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist at our Seal Beach, CA, or Seattle, WA location. This position is responsible for collaborating with customers, suppliers, and associated stakeholders to meet solution delivery expectations in support of escalated requirements as part of our BGS Emergent Requirements Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn, a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, and a desire to provide world-class customer support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain
  • Basic experience in customer support or customer service role.
  • High attention to detail, self-starter, and results driven.
  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, as this position operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • Proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions.
  • Coordinate activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g., AOG).
  • Review and interpret engineering data for alternative problem resolution.
  • Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to achieve common objectives.
  • Delegate tasks to manage workload effectively.
  • Engage in cross-functional communications to deliver concise and timely results.
  • Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans.
  • Manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and customer data regarding products or services, including repair capabilities and capacity.
  • Adapt to a fast-changing and high-stress work environment.
