About The Position

Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our industry-leading Nalco Water team. You will be joining a talented team that is responsible for bottling testing solutions and product samples, packing testing equipment, solutions, sample containers, and printed material. Ensure regulated orders are packaged and labeled in accordance with 49CFR, IATA, dependent on mode transport. Working within the SAP system to verify orders, provide packing lists, COA’s and SDS’s according to order requirements. Provide assistance with other department functions when necessary, picking orders, creating shipments, shipping and receiving. Working in a safe manner, following all Safety Policies and completing all Safety Training. Transports filled orders to and from the warehouse or shipping area. Performs general physical activities in the warehouse: loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment. Keep stocked shelves clean and in sequence. Perform general cleaning duties. Cross-Train and work in various areas within the department. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
  • Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing
  • Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system
  • Experience with shipping dangerous goods and hazardous materials
  • Experience using MS Outlook
  • Experience using FedEx, UPS, or other shipping software
  • Prior HAZMAT training
  • Good oral and written skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
