About The Position

The Associate Supply Chain Logistics Specialist at Northrop Grumman is responsible for supporting the logistics operations at the Orlando, FL facility. This role involves a combination of manual and clerical duties related to the accountability and accuracy of shipping records, receipt and inspection of incoming materials, and warehousing of equipment and materials. The specialist will also provide packaging and shipping support, maintain functional records for audits, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years' experience in shipping, property accountability, or storage operations.
  • Experience in SAP modules.
  • Good receiving and equipment experience with property accountability and/or warehouse management databases.
  • Ability to maintain property records and provide traceability of materials.
  • Experience operating electric pallet jacks/Forklifts (PIVs).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work standing for extended periods.
  • Possess a valid state issued driver's license and maintain it.
  • Possess a DOD Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years' experience in property accountability and/or warehousing operations and software databases.
  • 1 year experience with Bachelor's; 1 year with Master's in supply chain logistics and software databases.
  • Experience in an Enterprise Export/Import Management System and familiarity with International Trade Compliance (ITC).

Responsibilities

  • Perform a combination of manual and clerical duties related to logistics operations.
  • Ensure accountability and accuracy of physical and digital shipping records.
  • Receive, deliver, and inspect incoming materials.
  • Warehouse customer, program, and company-acquired equipment and materials.
  • Provide packaging and shipping support for programs.
  • Maintain functional records for internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure accuracy of delivery information, goods receipt, and government property inventory.
  • Coordinate transportation of material and correspondence within the local business environment.
  • Provide packaging engineering support, special container design, and shipping quotes.
  • Examine stock to verify conformance for annual reporting requirements.
