About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Used Serviceable Materials Repair Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX . In this role the candidate will p articipate in managing supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements, performance to contractual obligations and expectations, and oversight of repair management. Additionally, you will gather and review data for use in supplier performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3 or more years’ related work experience
  • Experience working within the Aviation Industry with focus on Repairs
  • Experience working with Used Serviceable Material
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and executes sending parts out for repair in coordination with Product Line Managers
  • Works with Product Line Managers and Repair Managers to review and approve vendor quotes.
  • Coordinates ship dates from Vendors and expedite when necessary.
  • Process Inbound deliveries and responsible for resolving any issues in getting repaired parts back into stock.
  • Review and identify technical documentation in determining alternate parts for repair management activities.
  • Report and discuss Vendor KPIs in coordination with Repair Manager.
  • Reviews and works any invoicing issues with Vendor.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and issues.
  • Provide support in the development of mitigation plans.
  • Work to improve product delivery and quality performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of supplier project plans.
