About The Position

Associate Supplier Quality Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team located in El Segundo, CA! Position will support Space Mission Systems programs, primarily in El Segundo. Position Responsibilities: Plans, organizes and conducts audits/assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products. Documents and reports audit/assessment results. Inspects or verifies products for compliance with applicable requirements. Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work. Investigates and resolves concerns to ensure compliance with requirements. Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity. Reports status of supplier performance. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 1+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
  • 1+ years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing
  • 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.
  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
