Primary responsibilities include: 1) Provide Instructor-Led training and OJT, to new hires and other employees to raise the overall level of expertise and expedite the new hire onboarding process. 2) Assist the Production Manager and Superintendents with activities associated with manufacturing and process changeovers in order to achieve conformance with production schedules, and 3) support departmental ESHS activities to eliminate/reduce injuries and process safety hazards.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work a day or night shift.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing or manufacturing technical support experience preferred.
  • Strong, demonstrated knowledge of Small Molecule Manufacturing processing and unit operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor others in the department and SMM.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver ongoing training for employees, serving as an assigned trainer for departmental OJT courses.
  • Support training planning and execution by assisting supervision in course assignments and completion to meet business goals.
  • Maintain and improve training materials and SOPs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all operators and shifts.
  • Provide flexible training support across departments and shifts as needed.
  • Support achievement of manufacturing objectives using OEE and Daily Monitoring tools and assisting Production Superintendents.
  • Communicate performance objectives and expectations clearly across shifts to improve alignment and effectiveness.
  • Manage and approve minor changes and deviations in Trackwise (Level 1/minor changes).
  • Perform or assist with ESHS investigations — lead minor event investigations and support major event investigations.
  • Champion ESHS compliance and accountability, completing required training and promoting safe behaviors.
  • Identify and report ESHS hazards, injuries, or unsafe conditions, and provide coaching on safety practices.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality and cGMP requirements, including proper documentation, reporting deviations, and maintaining cleanliness and PPE standards.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating training, SOPs, safety initiatives, and operational procedures.
