The Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction plays a pivotal role in fostering instructional excellence and advancing teaching practices across Pre-K through 12th grade. This position is responsible for developing and refining data-driven instructional strategies to improve student outcomes, facilitating collaborative professional development for educators, and ensuring curriculum and instructional practices align with district goals and state standards. Additionally, the Associate Superintendent oversees Annual Yearly Progress, ensures schools adhere to instructional standards, and manages the development and implementation of district-wide short-cycle assessments. This role also includes overseeing district and school-level short-cycle assessments, distance education, and computer-based learning, as well as coordinating the District's 90-Day Plan. Further responsibilities include providing data to support individual school and district needs and assisting the Director of Data & Assessments with state reporting and PowerSchool database maintenance.
