Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Structures Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team at our location in North Charleston, South Carolina. This is a great opportunity to work at Boeing as a Structures Stress Analysis Engineer. We are specifically hiring for a position in Structures Stress Analysis for our current airplane model 787. In these roles you will perform structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Support test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Define and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. The structures stress analysis engineer understands airplane structural analysis methods and tools for metallic and/or composite structures. The analyst ensures the airplane has sufficient strength to endure all conditions encountered during its operational life as well as investigate field service issues. The analyst also ensures the airplane structure meets all other design requirements including fail-safety, durability and damage tolerance where applicable.
