Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR a Master's degree.
  • Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
  • Experience conducting basic statistical analysis.
  • Ability to develop technical reports and present results.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • 2+ years of work-related experience performing structural fatigue and fracture analysis.
  • 2+ years of work-related experience performing statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Structural Integrity Program and its requirements.
  • Ability to understand and write engineering reports based on analysis results, test findings and aircraft maintenance reports.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Structural Risk Assessment for structural locations using common statistical analysis methods, tools and software.
  • Perform Single Flight Probability of Failure risk analysis and generate risk reports for customers.
  • Complete Durability and Damage Tolerance Analysis for structural locations using common fatigue and fracture tools and software.
  • Works under general supervision.
