About The Position

The Associate Strategy Director provides analytics-based strategic insights and direction to aid in the development of creative strategy and measurement plans for clients. Working closely with Strategy Leads, Account Management, Creative, Research, and Media teams, this role provides an internal consultative perspective on retailer and cultural trends, shopper behavior, and commerce technology. The position also supports the agency's new business opportunities as requested.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience performing analytics initiatives.
  • Experience in CPG industry and highly proficient in working with data/tools like Nielsen, IRI, Numerator.
  • Strong cultural and detective skills and experience analyzing business problems.
  • Advanced Keynote and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of IRI/Simmons is a benefit.
  • Critical thinking; draw conclusions, find creative solutions, structured problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to build relationships across team, departments, vendors and clients.
  • Collaborate and communicate complex, technical concepts to non-quantitative audience.
  • Ability to effectively manage timelines and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a vital team member within the strategy team, including strategy development, creation of briefs and briefing teams, campaign performance monitoring and ongoing client communications.
  • Use creative insights to inspire & shape communications from the earliest research stage through creative development, communications planning and campaign evaluation.
  • Partner with account leadership to support the overall management of client business relationships.
  • Inspire creative teams in the day-to-day creation and management of campaign communications.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret information from a variety of sources: market data, quantitative research data, cultural and social trends monitoring, qualitative interviews/conversations, observational research, and competitive analysis.
  • Work with the creative and account management team to ensure all client deliverables are flawlessly executed and on strategy.
  • Encourage proactivity, creativity and collaboration between the strategy and creative teams to ensure the sharing of work and innovative thinking.
  • Use your experience and knowledge to inspire and motivate the team.
