About The Position

As an Associate Strategic Relationship Manager in our Workplace Benefits area, you can create positive relationships with key partners and find opportunities for growth. In this role, you will assist the SRM team by supporting the optimization of their valuable partnerships to explore new pathways for crafting shared value. You will collaborate and establish positive relationships with key business partners to discover potential growth opportunities and generate value for assigned Workplace Benefits accounts. The focus will be on purposeful segmentation of strategic partners and aligning resources to improve B2B relationships. You will communicate optimally with business partners to identify new opportunity areas and share successes, distribute relationship and market insights to manage strategic relationships more effectively, and reduce operational and reputational risks by gaining a comprehensive understanding of essential relationships. Additionally, you will facilitate strategic account planning activities and preparation to enable long-term account growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of group benefit products.
  • Experience working in group benefits insurance sales, service, or support.
  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to analysis.
  • Experience manipulating data to conduct analysis to identify trends.
  • Attention to detail and well-organized.
  • Flexible and able to pivot quickly and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Willingness to travel when needed, including overnight stays.
  • Life & Health insurance license required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience modeling data.
  • Advanced Excel skills – Power Pivot and Power Query.
