The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. Our Monetization Strategic Finance team is searching for a strategic and results-driven Associate to support the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) organization. This person will partner closely with the R&D cross-functional team to define product strategy and roadmaps, performance manage against our business objective, and improve how we operate by setting targets across products. This role specifically will be focused on deepening our understanding of the ad ecosystem, and will partner closely with R&D teams across both our LMS and organic teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving highly complex ambiguous operational and strategic questions within LinkedIn’s R&D team and has exceptional business acumen and the skills to operate autonomously to identify, prioritize, partner, influence and implement high-impact change.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in finance, consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL or large datasets a plus.
  • Experience with digital advertising or technology industry a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support performance management by creating and maintaining financial models and forecasts for LinkedIn Audience Network ad product, including detailed forecasts.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to understand business drivers, evaluate strategic initiatives and provide financial guidance for new launches.
  • Establish and refine KPIs and tracking progress against business objectives.
  • Analyze business trends and variances to provide actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders with the necessary business context.
  • Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with some guidance.
  • Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with support from more senior team members.
  • Supports collaborative relationships with other teams and utilizes input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints.
  • Access and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify signals, risks, and opportunities.
