About The Position

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role will be based in Sunnyvale, CA, San Francisco, CA or New York, NY. We're seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to partner closely with LinkedIn Talent Solutions R&D leaders in shaping product strategy, monitoring key business metrics, identifying emerging trends, and sizing the financial impact of strategic initiatives. This highly cross-functional role emphasizes operational rigor and strong execution against top priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 1 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or growth role within a technology company.
  • Experience decomposing and solving real-world business problems, ideally using advanced Excel / SQL skills; able to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on higher level strategy.
  • Effective communication skills to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations; ability to credibly and compellingly present and debate recommendations with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts in-depth analysis of our LinkedIn Talent Solutions business and develops deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints.
  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective, with minimal supervision.
  • Manages financial/operational dashboards to monitor business line performance and analyze business drivers.
  • Runs, operates, and improves the performance management process for key consumer metrics.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and champions cross-functional collaboration, aligning with LinkedIn's values of transformation, integrity, and putting members first.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this role is $95,000 - $126,000.
  • The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
