U.S. Global Wealth Management (U.S. GWM)'s mission is to create industry leading experiences for financial intermediaries and their individual investor clients while making a strong contribution to PIMCO's overall business results. PIMCO U.S. GWM is responsible for business strategy and client coverage of financial intermediaries, including RIAs, wirehouses, family offices, banks/ brokerage firms, trust banks, platforms and sub-advisory relationships. Within U.S. GWM, the Strategic Accounts team's core responsibility is servicing PIMCO's largest intermediary clients (i.e. national and regional broker-dealers, banks, platforms, etc.). Members of the Strategic Accounts team act as strategic advisors, providing highly customized investment solutions and services to meet the unique needs of these key clients. The team's success is measured not just by sales and asset growth, but also by the strength and depth of client relationships, client satisfaction, and the strategic alignment of PIMCO's solutions with client goals. This unique and dynamic business function requires partnership with all corners of the firm, including but not limited to the following teams: Product Strategy, Portfolio Management, Sales, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of software applications in general, including but not limited to index-provider databases, query tools and Bloomberg.
  • Self-starter, ability to work within the firm's demanding and highly focused environment.
  • Team player and collaborator.
  • Outstanding relationship building skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate analysis, written and verbally.
  • Knowledge of fixed income securities and portfolio management techniques.
  • Work effectively with all levels of personnel as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Clear commitment to PIMCO's culture, values and approach.
  • Licensing: Series 7, 63 & 3 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers in developing and maintaining strong relationships with gatekeepers, program managers, research analysts, and other influential broker/dealer and platform personnel at key client firms.
  • Manage the completion and timely submission of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and Account Managers to gather, verify, and compile necessary data for client compliance and transparency.
  • Analyze business data to identify trends and insights across channels and client segments, driving informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate portfolio characteristics within the context of broader investment themes to support strategic client discussions.
  • Partner with Account Managers to develop deep knowledge of assigned client firms, providing guidance and support to key stakeholders-particularly the sales team-by addressing questions and educating them on firm platforms, processes, and rules of engagement.
  • Review and interpret risk reports, perform attribution research, and conduct scenario analysis to assess portfolio performance and risk exposure.
  • Create customized client reports and respond promptly to ad-hoc inquiries, ensuring high-quality and tailored client servicing.
  • Draft internal presentations and prepare client-facing materials that clearly communicate complex financial and economic concepts.
  • Assist in gathering, maintaining, and disseminating internal resources related to key clients for use by channel stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to execute strategic plans aimed at growing business with key clients in partnership with sales teams.
  • Support Account Managers in negotiating contracts and business terms to secure favorable outcomes for both clients and the firm.
