POSITION SUMMARY: Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger Conduct month-end and year-end closures Prepare monthly journal entries Prepare accurate monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Assist with Annual and periodic audits Assist the Controller with month-end close responsibilities Report to the Controller and work to improve financial processes Perform Full Cycle Accounting for subsidiary companies Prepare and file tax documents Analyze department processes and procedures and recommend improvements as needed Perform other duties as needed to assist the Finance Department

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least two years' experience in accounting or a related field
  • Highly organized, professional and detail oriented
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficient with Excel and a general understanding of how Accounting systems operate
  • Customer service oriented
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • A team player and collaborator

Responsibilities

  • Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger

  • Perform other duties as needed to assist the Finance Department
