About The Position

Looking for a close-knit, supportive teaching community in the heart of Cambridge, MA ? Cross Country Education is seeking a Paraprofessional / Associate Special Education Teacher at a premier charter school to join our dedicated team for the 2025-2026 school year! Position Overview: Partner with Lead Teachers to deliver high-quality instruction in co-taught ELA environments, providing both "push-in" inclusion support and targeted intervention for 7th and 8th-grade students. Support the management of a middle school caseload by ensuring all students receive their mandated accommodations and specialized instruction as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to adapt curriculum materials and develop strategies that bridge learning gaps in the general education setting. Maintain accurate records of student progress and perform essential administrative duties to ensure compliance with special education regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• Prior experience working with middle or high school students, specifically within a special education or inclusive classroom setting

Nice To Haves

• Proven expertise of Special Education principles and English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum is highly desirable
