About The Position

This is a hybrid role with three weeks per month onsite (Mon. – Thurs.). The fourth week is fully remote. We are seeking an Associate Sourcing Manager to partner closely with the Sourcing Manager to support product development and sourcing programs from concept through production. In this role, you will manage timelines, costing, vendor communication, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure high‑quality products are delivered on time and in line with business objectives. Own execution of product development with guidance from the Sourcing Manager, serving as a key liaison between Design, Merchants, and suppliers. Manage time and action calendars, including negotiating and analyzing vendor lead times to maximize flexibility and speed. Analyze and negotiate product costing, cost breakdowns, and minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirements. Support sourcing strategy for assigned categories, including identifying opportunities for new suppliers, factories, or markets. Assist with counter‑sourcing and development initiatives to maintain competitive cost and lead times. Partner cross‑functionally to resolve development and production issues. Participate in weekly Omni meetings to surface issues and drive resolution. Validate and coordinate liabilities and debit notes with internal partners. Support quality assurance by reviewing product testing reports and attending fittings as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, apparel/retail merchandising, business, marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in sourcing, product development, or related area.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize work and operate independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Proven experience building long‑term supplier relationships and negotiating strategic agreements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with PLM and business systems preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of garment construction and production is a plus.
