About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Associate Software Engineering Manager for the F-35 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) Software Team. Our team is responsible for developing the Mission Planning Software for the F-35 program. What You Will Be Doing As the Associate Software Engineering Manager you will be responsible guiding a team of engineers through the full software development life cycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that support the F-35 warfighter. This role requires exceptional leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline, Software Engineering or Computer Science preferred
  • Software Engineering Management or Software Engineering Team Lead experience
  • Software development experience
  • Agile development experience
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence/Bitbucket) and Gitlab
  • Experience with Process Improvement and Affordability initiatives
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD principles
  • Experience with Model-Based Engineering (Cameo)
  • Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience preparing and delivering briefings to leadership
