Requirements

  • Technical Degree Required.
  • Technical or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in networking, IT support, or software installation preferred.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu), SQL/PostgreSQL, and network configuration.
  • Basic understanding of Docker or containerized applications preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ required or in progress.
  • SMT manufacturing or industrial software experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops foundational skills in software deployment, documentation, and customer communication while contributing to continuous improvement and standardized methods that drive customer success and operational excellence.
  • Assist in the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Panasonic manufacturing software systems (PanaCIM, iLNB, DGS) at customer sites.
  • Carry out installation, modification, and repair activities under senior supervision, following approved standards and safety procedures.
  • Support configuration of Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu), SQL/PostgreSQL, and basic Docker environments.
  • Perform troubleshooting of application, network, and communication issues, escalating to senior engineers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of system configurations, IP addressing, software versions, licenses, and hostIDs.
  • Create or update internal guides, diagrams, and customer documentation for implemented systems.
  • Support TAC and service requests as directed by senior engineers or management.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as travel logistics, expense reports, and site documentation on time and accurately.
  • Participate in exhibitions and demonstrations of equipment at trade shows, PA demo room, or customer sites, informing customers and responding to technical and specification questions and concerns.
  • Identify sales opportunities and inform Sales as appropriate.
  • Participate in onboarding, technical, and product-specific training to build implementation and troubleshooting capability.
  • Actively engage in mentorship opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
