About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic front office technology
environment, partnering closely with the Asset & Wealth Management Fundamental
Equity business to propose, design, develop, enhance and maintain technology
solutions to drive business growth and efficiency. The candidate will
participate in the entire software development life cycle from definition of
requirements through development, deployment and support.

The Asset & Wealth Management Fundamental Equity business manages significant
client assets by investing in global markets based on fundamental stock-picking
strategies. Our technology team is dedicated to FE and works directly with
several teams including Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Construction, Traders and
Strats.

You will collaborate with a global team of engineers to build software solutions
that meet the needs of all aspects of the business, therefore you will learn a
wide breadth of Technical and Functional skills. You will have the opportunity
to work across the full technology stack, delivering impactful and commercial
products in partnership with our desk.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of software development experience
• Fluency in Java or other JVM languages
• Solid analytical skills and appreciation of technical risk
• Highly motivated, committed and capable of working to timeline

Nice To Haves

• JavaScript, React, Angular and similar UI technologies
• Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL DB like Sybase, Mongo, Elasticsearch and other related technologies
• Desire to work in a technical role closely aligned with a front-office business

Responsibilities

• Full stack development with Java, Angular/React, NoSql Databases and Real Time Distributed Systems
• Build scalable services using the latest web & server-side technologies
• Build a unified world-class technology platform supporting all aspects of the investment process
• Work in challenging yet fulfilling environment delivering on critical projects to drive business growth
