About The Position
The New York Times is seeking a full stack Software Engineer to join the NYT Cooking team. NYT Cooking helps you discover and cook the world’s best recipes. The NYT Cooking team is tight knit and interdisciplinary — we collaborate with our design, data, product, and editorial partners to prototype, develop and scale new features for both our responsive website and mobile apps. We are made up of small, focused groups tasked with building great cooking experiences on a variety of devices and platforms, including web, iOS and Android. You will report to the Engineering Manager of Cooking's Web team. Our tech stack: JavaScript (React, TypeScript, Next.js), Ruby (Rails), PostgreSQL, GraphQL.
