About The Position

We’re looking for a Associate Software Engineer to join our engineering team in delivering cutting-edge digital health experiences that scale globally. You’ll work on software solutions using the latest technologies in a collaborative, agile environment, helping build applications that directly improve the lives of patients and healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Experience coding with Java, Python.
  • Experience with various application types like backend services, web applications, console applications, or REST APIs.
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Programming or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS Cloud technologies (e.g. Lambda, SQS, SNS)
  • Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions is an asset.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is an asset.
  • Experience with Git, Confluence, and JIRA is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing our best-in-class SAAS health applications
  • Participate in technical design discussions that produces high-performance, highly scalable and resilient software components
  • Collaborate with other engineers and product owners to identify best in class software solutions to complex problems in our industry
  • Take a quality-first approach to software development by producing unit tests and automate functional testing as much as possible
  • Conduct code reviews with other developers, including security checks
