About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Software Engineer in New York, New York to design, develop, and maintain applications used by internal business units. Meet with clients to gather and analyze requirements. Make system design decisions, evaluating, integrating, and developing necessary software, before testing and deploying applications into production. Develop high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems, and evolving complex workflows and life-cycle management capabilities. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Requires three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Front-End Web Developer, Technology Analyst, or a related role.
• Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: Web development; Angular; HTML5; CSS; JavaScript; Typescript; Node.js; Java; Kotlin; Python; SQL; MySQL; DB2; JDBC; JPA; Microservices; Package management; NPM; PIP; Code versioning using Git; GitHub; BitBucket; Unix shell scripting; Test automation; Junit; DevOps; Jenkins; Agile development; Jira; Object-oriented design; Multi-threading; RESTful API; Spring; Spring Boot; Maven; Gradle; IntelliJ; VS Code; and Postman.
• Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: MongoDB; Camunda 7 and 8; and Docker.
