ABOUT THIS ROLE As an early career UI engineer, you will join KIBO at the forefront of the modular commerce revolution where you will orchestrate AI tools to build high-performance interfaces. You are an AI-native developer who leverages modern agents to rapidly prototype, style, and test React components while maintaining production standards. Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on React.
- Absolute familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
- Experience writing frontend tests with Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.
- Solid understanding of Git and collaborative workflows including code reviews.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks like Next.js
Responsibilities
- Build responsive web components using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Accelerate the creation of UI layouts and design system components using AI coding tools.
- Provide AI tools with specific context like style guides and JSON schemas to generate high-quality UI code.
- Generate comprehensive unit tests using Jest and Playwright to ensure stability across browsers.
- Transform Figma designs into functional React code through AI-assisted workflows.
- Audit frontend performance to optimize Core Web Vitals and efficient rendering.
