About The Position

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our DevOps, Tools & Automation team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to grow in the field of test automation and software development, with a strong focus on Python-based development. You will help design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools that ensure the reliability and performance of our software systems.

Requirements

• Problem-solving skills
• Analytical and critical thinking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment
• Some programming experience (Python preferred)
• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field
• 0-2 years hands on experience in software development or functional and non-functional testing

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for backend services, APIs, and web applications.
• Build reusable Python modules and utilities to support test automation.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to integrate automated testing into Jenkins pipelines.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and reliability.
