About The Position

ISN was established in 2001 and is a global leader in contractor and supplier management. We work closely with a variety of household-name clients in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East to connect them with safe and reliable contractors and suppliers and incorporate a level of due diligence in the contractor management process. The Associate Software Developer - DevSupport position is responsible for supporting the ISNetworld application. As a member of ISN’s Product team, you will be exposed to managing tickets, using SQL to identify root causes of issues and troubleshoot as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Knowledge of T-SQL; writing queries, stored procedures, and functions
Working knowledge of web development (ASP.NET web forms, MVC, C# or VB.NET a plus)
Basic knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, indexes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A passion for customer service
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Solid analytical and problem-solving ability

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of web development (ASP.NET web forms, MVC, C# or VB.NET a plus)

Responsibilities

Handle service requests from internal and external users in an efficient and timely manner
Create queries on large data sets
Reverse engineer existing SQL code, data flow and logic
Import and export data on Production databases
Troubleshoot the application to identify root causes of system behavior
Analyze query performance and identify improvement areas
Be able to work with development, QA, business teams and at times directly with customers
Strive to provide the best service to all customers in every situation
