About The Position

Associate - Single Stocks STP Trader, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, New York, NY: Maximize the capture and retention of sales credit and client value within the Single Stocks STP books in the US, both for single and multi-stock transactions. Timely price sales requests, minimizing unexplained P&L, and maintain control over P&L volatility. Review and minimize discrepancies between desk P&L and daily financial reporting figures, while consistently updating parameters such as volatility, dividends, and correlation, and effectively maintain reserves. Ensure that books remain within Group Risk Management (GRM) and desk-appointed limits, as well as product mandates, while proactively anticipating any potential over-limits by seeking pre-approval from both management and GRM. Recycle client business risks internally whenever possible and minimize operational losses resulting from trading actions. Collaborate with Front Office BT to refine and maintain the existing technology platform, as well as develop a trading and risk platform across various business lines and regions. #LI-DNI Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $165,000.00 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field and 2 years of related work experience. Must have 2 years of experience in: Options knowledge including different type of derivatives, from vanilla options such as Calls or Puts to complex options such as Quanto, barrier, basket, or Worst of; Risk management of a complex structured product book; Pricing different type of structured products; Different models used to price and risk manage structured notes; Coding with Python to build and enhance tools; and, Managing big datasets to help improve risk management processes. Must have Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification. The base salary for this job is $165,000.00 per year. Requirements
