The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Security & Fire Protection Multi Operations Specialist to join the team in Heath, OH. The ideal candidate will be able to work within a complex and fast-paced environment providing technical support for Fire Operations and Fire Protection Systems. This individual must have strong project management, communication, and organizational skills. Position Responsibilities: Performs duties as Fire Operations Technician and Fire Inspector Duties to include Fire Extinguisher Inspections, Life Safety Inspection, and Building Inspections Performs work on Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems Performs research related to potential threats and follows emergency response plans Stays current on company policies and processes, local laws and regulations as they relate to emergency response procedures Collaborates with external agencies in coordinating response plans to an emergency Creates detailed after-action reports and negotiates with internal/external support personnel Works with various organizations to assist in the development and updating of their business resilience plans Produces outlines, subject matter, conducts research, uses office applications for the training purposes and identifies key equipment necessary to deliver training Delivers training in accordance with customer requirements Performs risk assessments based on trend analysis Assists in management of emergency responder training programs Assists in the design, development and implementation of risk management programs, processes and procedures for the protection of company people, property, information and interests Guides the development of risk management policies and strategic, tactical and operational planning activities for risk management program sustainability Consults with customers, companies and external organizations to recommend and propose new or alternative solutions, improvements, and enhancements Investigates, analyzes, and resolves complex questions and problems Provides guidance and training to less experienced personnel Provides support to the physical security team as needed Additional Position Responsibilities: Routine Life Safety Inspections Routine Building Inspections Emergency Responses to Fire, Medical and Hazardous Spill Requests Basic life support (BLS), standard first aid techniques, and automated external defibrillator (AED) use Incident command system and emergency response protocols (e.g., establishing hot zones, decontamination techniques, monitoring techniques, etc.) Fire Extinguisher Inspections (NFPA 10) Fire Alarm Coordination for testing activities (NFPA 72) Fire Suppression Coordination for testing activities and impairments (NFPA 25) Fire Sprinkler Valve Inspections (NFPA 25) Hot Works Management and Permits Coordination Ensure Regulatory Fire Code Compliances to Construction and Process modifications Emergency Management Provide support for physical security systems and processes

Requirements

  • Active State of Ohio Firefighter I certification, or if you hold an IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter I certification, or able to obtain the State of Ohio Firefighter I certification within 6 months of hire
  • Active State of Ohio Fire Inspector I Certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of hire
  • Current valid driver's license
  • Current CRP certification
  • 1+ years of experience with NFPA fire protective standards and implementation
  • 1+ years of experience working in security, fire protection, and/or emergency preparedness
  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
