Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us . Position Summary Cell Core is responsible for supplying cellular products to support internal organizations. Team communications and support occur within and between varied company levels and internal organizations. This role will be responsible for in-lab fulfillment of requests across the cell therapy franchise. The role will therefore require a high degree of approachability and interpersonal savvy, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams. Effective organizational skills will also be necessary as the candidate will be responsible for varied technical work, process execution, and organizing large quantities of data. The candidate will additionally assist in processing apheresis collections to generate cellular products and intermediates in support of Technical Development, Process Development, Analytical Development, and Process Characterization efforts. The position will require process execution, documentation, data analysis, drafting of technical reports, and clear presentation of results. Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend shifts is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience in Immunology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or related field
  • Excellent aseptic technique strongly preferred
  • Excellent record keeping and documentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend shifts is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Mammalian cell handling and buffer preparation experience preferred
  • Experience with managing large inventory systems strongly preferred
  • Proficient use of MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Word)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to rapid changes, and work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Effective problem solving and ability to adapt to change on the fly will be necessary for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lab-based role responsible for assisting in generating cellular products and intermediates.
  • Management of apheresis procurement and oversight of material allocation to various stakeholders.
