Requirements

  • Master's Degree and 1+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience using functional cell-based assays.
  • Hands-on experience in handling samples in 96- and 384-well format.
  • Familiarity with metabolic disease biology, particularly in obesity or related fields.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in GraphPad Prism and experience with basic biostatistics.

Responsibilities

  • Support the advancement of drug discovery programs by performing in vitro laboratory experiments under minimal supervision.
  • Perform a wide range of molecular biology experiments including RNA/DNA extraction from tissues and cells, qPCR, and cloning.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with basic immunoassay techniques such as ELISA, colorimetric assay, and western blotting.
  • Work in an in vitro setting using aseptic technique, passaging, expansion, cryopreservation, assessment of cell-line quality, and cell characterization.
  • Operate and maintain standard lab equipment.
  • Document experimental plans and procedures with attention to detail in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and proactive attitude in designing and conducting experiments using state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Plan, conduct or monitor experiments, record and organize data, analyze results, troubleshoot, and generate robust and reliable data.
