About The Position

The Associate Scientist I position at Pace Life Sciences is a full-time role focused on providing analysis and oversight of chemistry and biochemistry practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of chemistry/biochemistry principles and practices.
  • Understanding of chemistry/biochemistry programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to resolve chemistry/biochemistry problems and questions.
  • Familiarity with standard testing tools and instruments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with project management principles.
  • Strong communication skills for effective presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fundamental analysis in support of standard testing materials, products, and devices using analytical instrumentation.
  • Review, analyze, interpret, and document testing results.
  • Oversee and process various chemistry/biochemistry forms and documents.
  • Provide analysis and counsel regarding chemistry/biochemistry policies and practices.
  • Analyze and review processes and results to determine trends and present findings to management.
  • Ensure accuracy of tests and operational databases through audits and reviews.
  • Assist in developing project objectives, including budgets and timelines.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and samples.
  • Interpret and apply department policies and assist with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to departmental efficiency by offering suggestions and participating in work teams.
