About The Position

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Chemistry or related field with a strong understanding of organic and analytical chemistry.
  • 1-5 years' experience in an organic synthesis, chemistry, or analytical laboratory preferred.
  • Strong synthetic skills and knowledge of lab techniques.
  • Proficiency in compound synthesis techniques, purification, and characterization methods such as LCMS, HPLC, and NMR.
  • Familiarity with scientific software such as ChemDraw, Scifinder, and Reaxys.
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, with experience synthesizing peptides a plus.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities.
  • Adept in documenting and presenting findings clearly through laboratory notebooks, reports, and presentations.

  • Executing multi-step synthetic routes and optimizing reaction conditions.
  • Isolating and characterizing organic compounds using techniques such as chromatography, NMR, MS, and IR spectroscopy.

  • Executing experimental plans and troubleshooting synthetic challenges.
