Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Life science, chemistry, engineering or equivalent technical discipline
Experience with protein analysis by ELISA, HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, or other techniques
0-2 years of relevant lab experience
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Nice To Haves

Experience with protein analysis by HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, ELISA, residual DNA, protein concentration by UV or other techniques
Willing to learn and work with the team
Familiar with Microsoft office

Responsibilities

Train on and perform analytical testing using multiple technologies to evaluate protein biopharmaceuticals for characterization, process validation, and stability monitoring.
Work with experienced scientists to optimize, transfer, or qualify analytical methods.
Use electronic databases to store test data
Provide analytical support for MSAT’s Upstream and Downstream teams for process development and characterization projects
Co-author analytical protocols and reports
Follow FDA and/or European agency regulations on analytical methods as they apply

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $25.00–$35.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
