About The Position

Becton Dickinson (BD) recently completed the acquisition of the Edwards Critical Care business. This position is part of the Critical Care division, and as such will become a part of the BD organization in the future. Critical Care will operate as a separate business unit, called Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) within BD's medical segment, aligning with BD's smart connected care approach. The role will cover territories across the U.S. The ideal candidate should reside near major airports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 1 year of related outside or B2B sales experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with a defined list of large APM customers, aiming to grow the APM share of our core business.
  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within their portfolio.
  • Serve as the main point of contact within own business unit for assigned customer base while acquiring understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business.
  • Develop and close new business opportunities with existing customers and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets while contributing to the development of short-term region plan.
  • Build and manage strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons and other influencers in assigned region to push BD positioning in the market influencing less complex buying decisions using tact and diplomacy.
