About The Position

The Associate, Sales-Microscopy role at Evident Scientific involves acting as a resource for customers, identifying their needs through detailed discussions, and providing solutions using product and application knowledge. The position requires installing and training customers on purchased equipment, meeting sales targets in the microscopy and digital imaging marketplace, and developing relationships with key researchers in the territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical/Life Sciences or Technical Science required; Master's Degree/Ph.D. preferred.
• 1+ years of sales experience in Life Science or related technical industry preferred; Capital Equipment Sales experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and computer proficiency are necessary.
• Ability to operate within the Evident Code of Ethics policy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with demonstration and application notes to address their needs and promote complete solutions.
• Develop proficiency with Salesforce to generate opportunities, quotes, and search for various data.
• Utilize administrative tools including Outlook, Concur, and LMS365 effectively.
• Manage time and calendar using Salesforce.com.
• Use Elton inventory control software for inventory management.
• Meet sales targets in the research microscopy and digital imaging marketplace.
• Collaborate with Evident Scientific sales representatives, marketing personnel, dealers, and independent customers to achieve sales goals.
• Prepare detailed quotations for customers, including software and digital imaging specifications.
• Attend trade shows and local events as assigned.
• Plan and conduct major presentations with specialists to explain software and imaging products to high-end researchers.
• Understand key accounts in the territory and develop relationships with leading researchers.
