Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be willing to relocate for future advancement positions within Nucor.
• 5 years' combined experience in commercial, sales, and/or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training and direction for the sales and customer service efforts at Nucor Steel Hertford.
• Lead the Inside Sales Department and coordinate with the commercial leadership team on the execution of the Plate Group Strategy.
• Work closely with leadership towards executing a strategy and accomplishing the overall goals for the division including safety, revenue, shipping and profitability.
• Develop and collaborate with other sales departments, regions, and sales support to support business objectives.
• Participate in the coaching and development of sales teammates.
• Develop specific goals and plans for prioritizing, organizing, and accomplishing individual work and/or the work of the team.
• Analyze data & understand its relevance in making commercial decisions.
• Effectively take care of our customers by creating a focus on safety, quality, cost, service, on-time delivery and productivity.
