About The Position

This role will be responsible for leading sales engagements of NielsenIQ's Analytics + Activation solutions across numerous assigned NielsenIQ account targets. The focus will be on maintaining and growing existing clients and acquiring new business through the development of meaningful client relationships and closing deals. The goal is to expand our Advanced Analytics solutions within assigned accounts by possessing the unique attributes of a consultative seller. This role will collaborate with Solution Architects, Client Business Partners, Account Development leads and delivery team members throughout the sales cycle. As an individual contributor, this role will drive deals to successful outcomes across complex sales phases in a timely manner while generating new product ideas and bringing the voice of the customer back to product management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree favored
  • 5-8 years' consultative selling (full-cycle) experience within market research, CPG, and/or media agencies
  • Previous experience selling data/analytics, marketing mix modeling, choice modeling/Conjoint to CPG manufacturers and/or media agencies preferred
  • Previous experience working in a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to translate data knowledge into tactical and strategic solution frameworks; advanced data analytic sales preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and polished manner to a diverse audience
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships to sell our analytics solutions within your assigned accounts
  • Use consultative/challenger selling skills to identify client business needs, qualify, probe, scope and sell in NielsenIQ advanced analytics services
  • Achieve an annual Revenue/Sales target
  • Attend a few annual conferences/tradeshow
  • Self-start and proactively prospect within your assigned accounts to drive initial purchases
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage sales pipeline reporting and proper CRM hygiene with excellence
  • Become proficient in NielsenIQ Analytics + Activation solutions, systems, and software tools
  • Develop Account Plans and initiatives to drive growth within your assigned accounts and vertical
  • Represent the voice of the customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications, and delivery teams
  • Uncover and disseminate retailer, manufacturer, and competitive intelligence
  • Work highly collaboratively with other cross functional NIQ partners
  • Contribute to assigned projects as needed
