Operating acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, outpatient facilities and ambulatory care access points, an insurance offering, a physician network and various related services located all over the U.S. States, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom. www.uhs.com As a Revenue Cycle Analyst, you’ll be responsible for assessing current revenue cycle processes and workflows; identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements, collaborating with teams (e.g., registration, billing, charging, coding, collections, and denials management) to streamline processes, reduce and recover denials, and optimize cash flow; and analyzing and monitoring revenue cycle metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Associate Revenue Cycle Analysts support more senior team members performing system maintenance, create reports through basic queries, support issue triage and resolution, and document processes and workflows.

Requirements

  • An Associate Revenue Cycle Analyst should have 0-3 years of experience and a relevant college degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, health information management, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Revenue Cycle operations is preferred.
  • A qualified candidate should have strong professional written and verbal communication skills, proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.), and the ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
  • Up to 15% domestic travel dependent on business need.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with more senior analysts and management to implement process improvements and streamline operations
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of revenue cycle management software and tools based on end user requests
  • Generate basic reports related to revenue cycle metrics, such as claim denials, write-offs, and payment delays, and assist in analyzing trends
  • Document processes and workflows related to revenue cycle activities for internal reference and training purposes
  • Performs all other duties as assigned/required
