About The Position

EMPLOYER: Dimensional Funds Advisors LP. POSITION: Associate Research. WORKSITE: 1515 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28203 DUTIES: Perform Analysis of Trading Algorithm & Trading Costs. Perform Analysis of Market Microstructure. Solutions to Tick Data Infrastructure. Marketing Related to Trading Strategies. This includes working with: programming skills, including knowledge design patterns, object-oriented programming, compilers, and inheritance; knowledge of algorithms and efficiency including complexity analysis, hash tables, sorting, insertion, queuing, and searching; and ability to manipulate large data sets using tableau, SQL, or scripting languages. Hybrid work from home schedule permitted 2 to 3 days within a reasonable commuting distance from the office. #LI-DNI MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering with a focus on Financial Technology, or a related field, and 2 years of experience to involve: (1) advanced programming skills, including knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming, compilers, and inheritance; (2) knowledge of algorithms and efficiency including complexity analysis, hash tables, sorting, insertion, queuing, and searching; and (3) ability to manipulate large data sets using tableau, SQL, or scripting languages. Requirements
