At the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, a Research Associate plays an essential role in advancing cardiovascular innovation through hands-on research support. In this position, you contribute to every stage of the research process -- collecting and organizing data, assisting with study design and documentation, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of results. Your work directly supports MHIF's missing to improve heart health and save lives through high-quality, impactful research. The Associate Research Coordinator (ARC) will abstract data from medical records and other source documents; enter study required data into registry, database or other study systems; and provide other support in collaboration with the Clinical Research Coordinators. This position, under the direction of a Clinical Research Manager, will make patient contacts to collect study required data and to consent patients for participation in registry or other clinical studies. The ARC will record visit data onto study forms, complete study specific imaging transfers, conduct literature reviews and complete a variety of administrative and study-related tasks as assigned. The ARC may also draft text and charts for abstracts, manuscripts and Power Point presentations. This team member will work with all Foundation and hospital staff as part of a positive, supportive culture. Job Summary: The Associate Research Coordinator (ARC) supports the ongoing needs of clinical research trials, research databases and other research projects in support of the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF) mission. This position will be responsible for collecting and entering patient data into study data systems. The ARC may also assist with general administrative support.
