Associate Research Analyst - Investment Grade Industrials Sector
About The Position
The Role We are looking to expand our Investment Grade credit research team by adding an Associate Research Analyst to cover Investment Grade corporate credits within the Industrials Sector. This individual will be responsible for assisting with generating investment ideas within our $55 billion Investment Grade corporates franchise and will interact with investment professionals across our taxable fixed income mandates. We’ll trust you to: Conduct detailed industry and company fundamental analysis within the Industrials Sector as directed by the Senior Analyst Build and maintain industry and company financial models Assist Senior Analyst in constructing company and industry research notes, providing background information, graphs and data tables Develop and refine research knowledge and skills under the guidance of the supervising Senior Analyst and Head of Investment Grade Corporate Research Communicate and develop relationships with issuer management teams, sell-side professionals and industry experts
Requirements
- 4-6 years of credit analysis experience covering fundamental industry trends and companies in the Industrials Sector
- Excellent quantitative, communication, and investment management skills
- BA/BS degree required
- Ability to articulate investment ideas in a clear and concise manner with internal and external constituents
- An attitude and practice of proactive idea generation
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Nice To Haves
- Some buy-side experience working in a team-oriented environment is preferred
