About The Position

This position is responsible for recording/playback/replay operations at PGA TOUR STUDIOS. This person works in conjunction with the production staff to ensure the execution of all elements for live and taped productions. This includes the recording and playback of live event coverage, tournament highlights, and features to be integrated into live PGA TOUR events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in Television, Broadcasting, Communications, or Journalism.
• Minimum 1-2 years broadcast television or related experience at the regional to large market or network level preferred.
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of all TV production equipment within assigned operating area, including EVS systems, routers, and industry standard audio monitoring and communication systems.
• Knowledge of both EVS and Hawk-Eye Replay systems is preferred.
• Ability to operate replay systems in a quick and timely manner under high-pressure situations. Attention to detail and continuity are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Replay Operator duties for live and taped programming as assigned.
• Responsible for quick and proficient operation of all replay equipment and associated systems.
• Assist in pre-show, live, and post-show functions as directed by production staff and daily schedule.
• Maintain current knowledge of technical trends in the live broadcast industry.
• Communicate any replay equipment problems immediately to Engineering through the maintenance reports, and assist Engineering in locating and identifying equipment problems as needed.
• Special Projects or other duties as assigned.
