The position involves coordinating all functions of the Registrar's Office to ensure seamless operations and alignment with institutional policies. The role includes developing and implementing office procedures to improve workflow efficiency and service delivery, handling correspondence, scheduling, and telephoning for the Registrar, and maintaining office reports, logs, and files for reference and audit purposes. The individual will maintain a student-centered registrar's office while adhering to academic policies and institutional standards.

  • Assist the Registrar in coordinating all functions of the Registrar's Office.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of office procedures.
  • Handle correspondence, scheduling, and telephoning for the Registrar.
  • Maintain office reports, logs, and files for reference and audit purposes.
  • Coordinate registration processes and assist in resolving registration-related issues.
  • Maintain and update student records and transcripts with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Check degree requirements and coordinate the verification process.
  • Oversee the preparation of the graduation list, diploma orders, and grade entry.
  • Coordinate grade changes, following established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive registration calendar.
  • Maintain the Registrar's web page, ensuring information is current and accessible.
  • Submit various NSC (National Student Clearinghouse) Reports.
  • Input Study Abroad transfer credit information and monitor compliance.
  • Prepare and distribute routine and ad hoc reports.
  • Implement curriculum changes associated with the College's strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to communicate curriculum changes.
  • Support the integration of experiential learning data into academic records.
  • Maintain proficiency in information technology relevant to registrar's office functions.
  • Identify opportunities for implementing new technologies.
  • Assist and advise students and faculty regarding academic records.
  • Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and parents.
  • Facilitate workshops or informational sessions on registration and degree audit tools.
  • Ensure adherence to academic policies related to registration, grading, and degree certification.
  • Participate in audits to verify the accuracy of academic records.
  • Two to five years registrar’s related experience.
  • Excellent database skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
