The Associate Registrar/Transfer Specialist provides leadership and decision-making support in the absence of the Registrar and serves as the collegewide expert on transfer processes. This role directs activities related to student records, registration, credit transfer, athletic compliance, and advising current and prospective students. Key responsibilities include managing transfer and Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) evaluation policies and procedures in collaboration with the Registrar, and guiding students, faculty, and Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) staff on transfer and CPL matters. The position also works closely with the Registrar on Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS) maintenance, student registration, campus registration events, and serves as the Workday Student Transition Lead. Act as a resource and expert for the Registrar’s office to ensure information regarding registration, transfer of credits, enrollment verification, athletic compliance and graduation requirements are communicated both in person and online/web. Serve as the college’s Transfer Specialist managing transfer processes, tools, and policies to ensure accurate student records and seamless credit articulation. Provide guidance to students, faculty, and staff while representing the institution in statewide transfer initiatives and committees. Act as a comprehensive advocate and advisor for students to ensure their success. Serve as the transition lead for Workday Student.
