About The Position
At Christ Church Greenwich, we are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Rector who is passionate about nurturing spiritual growth and fostering community. This role is dedicated to teaching the gospel with warmth and conviction, and it thrives on engagement with parishioners. The Associate Rector will have the opportunity to inspire and guide our congregation, fostering a vibrant and growing church environment. The ideal candidate will commit to a minimum of three years in this position, working collaboratively with the Rector, fellow clergy, church staff, lay leadership, and volunteers to enhance the church's mission and outreach. In this position, the Associate Rector will assist the Rector with the management of the day-to-day operations of the parish. This includes oversight and administration of the Christian Formation programs for all ages, ensuring that the programs are engaging and effective in meeting the spiritual needs of the congregation. The Associate Rector will also have direct reports among staff members, conducting regular six-month evaluations and goal setting to promote professional development and accountability. Additionally, the Associate Rector may be tasked with overseeing staff development and team-building initiatives, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
