About The Position

We are seeking an Associate Rector who is dedicated to teaching God's word with warmth and conviction. Candidates should thrive on being engaged with our parishioners. The ideal candidate will be able to work productively with a multicultural staff and congregation including clergy and laity. This part-time Associate Rector position is for 20 hours per week.

Requirements

• Is an ordained Episcopal priest or a transitional deacon.
• Able to communicate Anglican theology effectively and nurture our relationship with God.
• Has strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be approachable.
• Possess strong organizational and planning skills.
• Has a firm sense of self and maintains a solid support system outside the parish.

Responsibilities

• Take primary leadership of youth and family ministry.
• Preaching, presiding, and other sacramental duties with the Rector and non-stipendiary clergy.
• Attend staff meetings, Vestry meetings, parish activities, and fellowship events as appropriate and as time allows.
• Assist the Rector with overseeing all our ministries, provide helpful guidance to them, and strategize for ministries that have yet to start.
• Administrative, leadership, teaching and communication tasks as needed.
