About The Position

A well-established UK recruitment company is launching its US presence, starting in New York. This is not a maintenance role. This is a build role. We are looking for a proven 360 Construction Recruitment Consultant who wants real ownership, influence, and the chance to help shape a new market from day one. You will run the full recruitment lifecycle while playing a key role in establishing the brand, processes, and client base across the US construction sector. If you enjoy autonomy, accountability, and building something that actually matters, this role will suit you.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a 360 recruitment consultant within the construction sector.
  • A strong track record of business development and consistent revenue generation.
  • Confidence operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with minimal hand-holding.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial energy.
  • You enjoy building desks, markets, and long-term value rather than just filling roles.

Nice To Haves

  • US market experience is preferred but not essential if you have strong billings and a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full 360 recruitment process within the construction sector, covering permanent and or contract roles. This includes business development, client management, candidate sourcing, placement, and post-placement relationship building.
  • Develop new client relationships across general contracting, commercial construction, residential, civil, infrastructure, and specialist trades depending on your background.
  • Build and manage a strong candidate pipeline using direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and market mapping.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, understanding project requirements, timelines, compliance, and market conditions.
  • Contribute to the setup of the US operation by feeding into processes, market strategy, and growth plans alongside senior leadership in the UK.
