About The Position

URBN is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in identifying and attracting top creative talent for our apparel and home design teams. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of recruiting, sourcing, or candidate coordination experience
  • Strong interest in design, fashion, or lifestyle brands; familiarity with design portfolios and creative terminology.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools.
  • Some working experience with Microsoft Business Suite & Excel
  • A collaborative, curious, and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs for design roles including apparel, textile, graphic, home, color, print, and more.
  • Collaborate with Design Talent Team to source, share and match top design talent to their best suited roles across all URBN Brands.
  • Source, screen, and engage top creative candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, Behance, and niche design communities.
  • Manage job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Assist in organizing and attending design-focused career fairs, portfolio reviews, and recruiting events.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and track recruiting metrics using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Support diversity hiring efforts and ensure inclusive sourcing strategies.
  • Stay informed about design industry trends and competitive talent landscapes.
  • Serve as one on site point person for the Design Talent Acquisition team, managing in person interviews and on site business functions as needed.
