About The Position

Our client is hiring an Associate Reconstruction Project Manager (APM) — a high-potential, detail-oriented future Project Manager to join a fast-growing restoration and reconstruction business based in New York. This is not a coordinator or admin role. This is a structured, hands-on training and development position designed to turn strong builders and operators into full Project Managers running complex residential and commercial reconstruction projects. You will train directly under a Senior Reconstruction Project Manager (based in New York), learn the full reconstruction lifecycle end-to-end, and progressively take ownership of your own projects as you ramp. This is the part of the construction industry that helps people and businesses put their buildings and lives back together after fires, floods, and major losses. Reconstruction projects are complex, multi-trade, and highly impactful. You’ll be doing real building work, managing real stakeholders, and learning how to run jobs like a professional builder — not just pushing paper. Our client is one of the leading restoration and reconstruction companies in the country, operating in nearly 400 markets. This New York operation is one of the larger and faster-growing markets in the system, with strong leadership, real operational scale, and a deep project pipeline. This role is designed as a launchpad: • Phase 1: Training, shadowing, and scoped ownership of job components • Phase 2: Running smaller reconstruction jobs with oversight • Phase 3: Promotion to Reconstruction Project Manager based on capability, consistency, and results High performers will move quickly. This is a career-track role in a high-volume, high-complexity reconstruction operation. The people who succeed here don’t stay Associates — they become Project Managers running major projects and key client relationships. If you want to build a serious career in construction and project management — and want to learn inside a fast-growing, high-standard operation — we’d love to meet you. Apply here and let’s talk.
